Personal Information We Receive

We offer users the option to provide us personal information that may be used to enable people to communicate with legislators and other public officials, as well as personalize their user sessions.  If you choose to register on our site we may collect contact information from you such as your name, company, title, physical and email address, telephone and fax number.  We may also collect information about topics that you are interested in.  When you register you may be asked to select a password that will be used to allow you to access some of our services as well as your user profile.  If you contact us by email we will collect and retain your email address.

By providing information to us you explicitly agree to our collection and use of the information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Do Not Track Disclosure

This site uses persistent cookies or similar technologies to authenticate the user and session cookies to keep track of the user session. If you want to correct or update your personal information, you may log into your membership account on our website, or you can contact us by email at  We will share your messages with those within our organization that are most capable of addressing the issues contained in your message. We preserve the content of your e-mail, your e-mail address and our response so that we can efficiently respond to any questions you might have. We may use any information voluntarily given by users to support and advance our mission, including, for instance, to facilitate your communication with public officials, to gauge the effectiveness of certain grassroots activities, or to communicate with you about our mission or other information about us or third parties that we think you might find of interest.  The use of your information is subject to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of use. We make sure that your communications are correctly delivered to your elected and other public officials. 

We may use your email and street addresses to notify you of updates, products, services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such notifications via email you can choose to opt out of receiving such information at any time by so indicating either at time of registration, or upon receipt of any promotional email by following the instructions or links in the email.

We are committed to respecting the privacy and security of all visitors to our website and therefore will not share your information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy or as permitted by law.

Comment Policy

Protect the Granite State has a presence on a number of social media platforms, including Flickr, Facebook, and Twitter.  Protect the Granite State actively encourages discussion, and we urge our users and advocates to share their ideas, opinions, and questions using comment features available throughout the Protect the Granite State site.  We reserve the right in our sole discretion to refuse to accept or to delete comments not meeting our Comment Policy standards.

All comments posted to our site must comply with the following guidelines:

·         Please be sure your comment is relevant to the post, video, photo, etc. to which you’re responding. If you would like to communicate something to Protect the Granite State that does not pertain to the existing conversation or content you can contact us.

We reserve the right, for any reason, in our sole discretion and without notice to you, to terminate, change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the site, including, but not limited to, information, data, text, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages or other materials (“Content”), features and/or hours of availability, and we will not be liable to you or to any third party for doing so.  We may also impose rules for and limits on use of the site or restrict your access to part, or all, of the site without notice or penalty.  We have the right to change these rules and/or limitations at any time, in our sole discretion.

General Information
